Sunday Worship - Regular worship is on Sundays from 3 to 5 PM. There is a social time and refreshment after service.
Sunday worship and holiday celebrations:
The last three years we celebrated Easter Sundaywith joy and pray at Ascension Lutheran Church in Columbus, Ohio.On this special occasions, our church members gathered at the church to commemorate the resurrection of our lord Jesus Christ with worship and pray.
On this event, our church Choir group presented wonderful Christian songs in Oromo language.There was a preaching from the book of Luke chapter 24: 1-12.
The lesson was focused on the arrest, charges, crucifixion, resurrection, of our lord Jesus Christ.There was a devotion and prayer time for the sick, elderly, poor and for the disadvantaged.There was a special prayer time for Oromo people and others who are affected by man made and natural disasters.There was cultural food, songs and costumes to celebrate this special holiday.
Bible Study
Bible study is conducted every Saturday afternoon.
Every year we celebrate together at Church Thanksgiving, Easter, and Christmas.
